he let you down. you had standards and expectations, not high ones, just ones that you expected would be met because you would do the same thing too. and if they aren't met, if he cannot satisfy you or please you with the small things in the beginning, then how can he meet what you want in the future?
listen. im open minded and i try to understand everything. i want to know every little details so i can learn and get it too. so let me tell you two stories.

tish - she really liked jay and he made the first few moves, he asked her out, she had sex with him, and he never called her, she would always make the first contact, the first move, the first everything, would buy him everything - drinks, gas, everything! now he alwyas texts her, after how many months, and has recently told her he loves her and he means it. he doesn't cheat on her or nothing. but now she is getting bored and is unsure of how she feel abouts him or what she wants anymore. he is happy but she is not. not fully anyways.

krisishal. wasn't ready for a relationship but sanchez came along. he flew to australia to bring her back here, shipped eveyrthing she owned to hervey bay, bought her everything, a house, everything! she wans't ready but he showed she was. he still supports her and was so in love with her,still is yet treats her like shit. he calls her fat, says shes a selfish bitch, purposly embarrqases her and the lot but she loves him and he loves her too, but he isn't as happy and always questioning why she is with him. is it the money, what is it, blah blah.

my point? you never know. you just dont know whats right or whats wrong or how the story will be. but what i've learnt from listening to these stories?

its about equality. in the beginning, one person tried more than the other. one person either exceeded or didnt reach the expectations of the other. if both people tried equally, beautifully together to please and want to be with the other, wouldnt that be so nice? because in the end, the imbalance will happen until eventually it either goes up or down, it will work or it wont work.
so my theory is, dont listen to whatever anyone else says
